This is the very first time my dad held Zoe. Julius stepped onto the sofa and joined in. Over the next 2 weeks, I witnessed a protective but rather clueless elder brother learning to take care of his sister and a grandfather who kept the brother in check. It was quite entertaining. I had a number of achievements as well. For the first time, I held a baby that is less than 1 month old and she did not cry (for… quite awhile). I was able to make Zoe stop crying, by pretending to be a car (sounds and movement included). I made dinner for everyone… TWICE! And they didn’t throw away the food, so that in itself is something to be proud of!

It has been a long time since the family got together. One of the most memorable gathering for a long time.
