The new year started out, erm… first with a splash, followed by a bang. You know, things happen. After wakeboarding yesterday, I decided to catch a nap while watching some DVDs. An hour into the show, TV started making funny noises… then the screen went off for awhile, came back again. That lasted for a couple of minutes before a louder bang. Then that was it. I could see some imaginary words on the TV that says… “New Year, New TV”.
So I retreated back to my room, popped the DVD into my laptop can continued watching them while working on some stuff on the computer. Although I probably have to watch the movie again… since I missed some parts. I really CAN multitask. Watched the inconvenient truth. Al Gore’s pretty funny, can’t imagine him being president, but then again, neither did 49% of americans thought the same about Bush. Ok, interesting movie it was. I’m glad I own (ok, the bank owns part of it) a fuel efficient car 😀
I still remember the first time I met Huicheng. After the meeting, she went off while I was packing up my laptop. Then she came back a minute later, asking “are you afraid of dogs? I have a hyperactive golden retriever!”. Well well… nice dog you have there 😀
The wedding went on erm… not as planned (due to bad weather), but everything else went on very smoothly. They got a vintage replica for the bridal car, but realized that Huicheng would have problems getting into the car, so they took one of the accompanying car. While two of his brothers drove the bridal car… with the sign “Just Married” hung behind the car. I hope people who see them don’t get the wrong idea.

Received an sms from Suping last night close to midnight. After the “Happy New Year” message, came… “want to ride tomorrow?”. Woohoo!!:D After some quick exchanges, I finally made it to Punggol this morning for my first wakeboarding since April last year. Naturally, I was a bit scared, not knowing if the touches are still there. 1st set wasn’t too good, but 2nd was pretty good I thought. Even falling felt good. Punggol’s water taste a little funny though.
We all had lunch at Jalan Kayu, me, Theng Wei and Suping. The wonton mee is quite nice, although the service is a little slow. Under manpowered I guess, it’s New Year afterall. Looking forward to my next ride.
