my missed shipment

UPS missed me twice. Feels so like Romeo and Juliet (the 1996 version)! They left a note at the wrong side of the gate and I totally missed it. I decided to check the tracking number and found that they actually came to my place twice but didn’t manage to get me.

Anyway, I decided to self collect it because after spending a bomb on equipments, I’m quite excited to use them at tomorrow’s wedding. I reached UPS amidst a storm and the very kind security guard ferried me with an umbrella from the carpark to the warehouse where the staff actually delayed their closing to wait for me!! When I left, the guard ferried me to my car again, despite me saying, it’s ok. He said, “if you get caught in this kind of rain, you’ll fall sick easily”.

I’m sorry, Singapore bad service? Maybe I’m just lucky:) Love it!! Though they missed the delivery, they more than made it up:) Woohoo!! I’m so in love with my new camera straps… I’m finally get “debranded”. No more canons hanging round my neck and shoulders.

p-a-s-s-i-o-n

Reminds me of that techno song in the 90s. Goodness… I’m sooooo beng. Nothing too beng about this photo:) I love RED, ORANGE and erm… circles. It’s 230am… I really need some sleep soon.

stuffed toys

Same scene, different people see them differently. My twisted mind always has it’s way of looking at things.

mid noon drama

Speaking of drama. I was on my way to Ubi to collect the car and was talking to my housemate about dumb drivers, then we saw this TP (traffic police) in front of us. The next moment, a car right beside it decided to swerve into his lane and Mr. TP have to swerve to avoid the collision. That was the funniest shit I’ve seen on the roads for a long time. I can imagine how the driver felt when he realized what he had done. TP slowed down, signalled him to pull over. But because the road was crowded, he decided to move further up.

While he was doing that, a car in front of the TP decided to turn on his hazard lights and stop suddenly. TP jammed his brakes, pulled alongside and waved at the driver. At this point in time, the other car got away. Both of us were laughing so damn hard. What a day for the TP.

It’s really mid noon comedy.

+ve day

Sometimes we may think that certain people are bad. Specifically, people who hold certain jobs. For the past few months, a group of people pissed me off big time. For some of you, it’s probably all the time. I’m talking about parking attendents.

Today I had a positive encounter with one. I was having laksa at Katong with my car parked right in front of the shop. I didn’t any parking coupons on, knowing that I’ll be done very quickly. Halfway through my meal, a parking attendant walked towards my car. I jumped up from my seat (thick beehoon with gravy hanging off my mouth <— speaking of which, I have a picture of Ron like that…:P) and ran towards the car (ok, abit dramatized). She gave me that look like, “that’s yours?”. I nodded (beehoon flying all over as I did that). She just walked away.

Finally, there are some passionate souls around. I like today.

nothinggggggggggg…

If you have watched Russell’s latest show, he mentioned that this hand sign means… “nothing” in indian culture.

I was sorting out Dennis and Anne’s (we watched Russell Peters live together after their wedding) wedding images when I came across this one. I sometimes wonder, what went through my head when I take certain pictures. Sometimes, I get entertained by what I shoot.
