The WPN CNY madness:P

Today we had this crazy little shoot for our CNY greeting on the WPN website. It turned out a little better than the Christmas one (partly because it’s in air conditioned environment – thanks to William!:D). Funny seeing how we work. Oh yes, Kago got a cameo too!:D

We tried so many things, but decided the throwing of mandarin oranges is the best. And yes, we smashed almost all of them by the end of the shoot. Kago went crazy everytime the oranges drop. He thinks it’s a ball!!

spare me my life…

I’ve been “accused” of posting nothing but super retro youtube videos on my blog recently. Yes yes, I admit to that. But hey, aren’t you guys bored of wedding pictures day in day out? Ha ha ha, of course not. The reason for the slowdown, well, it means “change is coming feldberyl” (that’s something I learned from the US presidential campaign). 2009 that will be. A few big moves, a few big decisions and a lot to look forward to:)

Yesterday, Jean (the bride) showed me this video. The first instinct was… “WTH”. Trust me, you will react the same (these guys did)…

I was sooooooo impressed I went youtube and search for the video right after the wedding. “spear me my lie…” I love japan!:D

mid noon drama

 

Speaking of drama. I was on my way to Ubi to collect the car and was talking to my housemate about dumb drivers, then we saw this TP (traffic police) in front of us. The next moment, a car right beside it decided to swerve into his lane and Mr. TP have to swerve to avoid the collision. That was the funniest shit I’ve seen on the roads for a long time. I can imagine how the driver felt when he realized what he had done. TP slowed down, signalled him to pull over. But because the road was crowded, he decided to move further up.

 

While he was doing that, a car in front of the TP decided to turn on his hazard lights and stop suddenly. TP jammed his brakes, pulled alongside and waved at the driver. At this point in time, the other car got away. Both of us were laughing so damn hard. What a day for the TP.

 

It’s really mid noon comedy.

If you have watched Russell’s latest show, he mentioned that this hand sign means… “nothing” in indian culture.

 

 

I was sorting out Dennis and Anne’s (we watched Russell Peters live together after their wedding) wedding images when I came across this one. I sometimes wonder, what went through my head when I take certain pictures. Sometimes, I get entertained by what I shoot.

Completely russelled over

 

Ever seen someone so funny that you can’t crack jokes after that? I just met one yesterday. In fact, two. Russell and his opening act, Angelo. It was way too funny. Best part is, this show contains all brand new materials.

 

Sitting in the front row, yes, it’s an experience, but I think it can get rather stressful especially when his eyes scans towards your area. He looked straight into my eyes and said, “white guy, what’s you name?” For a moment, I was totally stunned, so stunned I can’t even remember the color of my skin. He was actually pointing to the white guy seated behind me. A sigh of relief… man, if I’m white, he’d be neon white!

 

All in all, two thumbs up for the great show!! Love it to bits.

 

After that, we headed for some durians at 717. For the guys who called me this morning, this explains why the voice sounded a little sexier.

Are you like that?

This song came up on my mobile phone when I was taking a shower today (ah yes, I take my phone into the bathroom). I was a hi-tech ah beng once upon a time… that explains my music preference:P
 

I got this video through emails couple of years back and thought it’s really funny and holds some *understatement* truth. I guess all guys experienced this at some point or other in their lives. I think the author of this animation is a genius!:D
