Our job is done

A chinese custom (as far as I know) where the parents veil the bride before the groom picks her up. Very often, they get caught up with the photo taking and all, smiling at all angles. Most parents do not say anything during this part of the wedding. Very often, there is this silent connection between them. Some more obvious than others. I wonder what they were thinking.

a very long post

Fire clouds

A poor man’s northern lights.

Skate park walkabout

I heard it’s a public holiday today. Since I worked really hard on the weekend, I thought I’d give myself a well deserved break. Instead of bringing the skateboard to East Coast Park, I brought my camera. After witnessing the awesome sunset, I headed straight to the park. It’s been awhile since I actually shot something non work related in Singapore. I must say it was rather refreshing.

Oh crap… wrong gear. Kiteboarder looking into the bowl.

In most places, you go on wheels when you are old. In the skatepark, it’s the opposite.

Kickass moves.

Stephen and Theng Theng

Something done recently. I love little things that don’t go according to plans and when you see people laughing it off… that’s priceless. The lead up to a wedding is always stressful. I always say it’s like a wind up toy, you wind it hard when before the wedding and just let it go during the wedding. If you hold you pee long enough, you’ll know what I mean. As usual, I’ll let the pictures do the talking (with some commentary on the side):D

Brother of the bride forgot to bring the oranges when opening the car’s door for the couple. They were happy, he was like… (see image).

This is when someone brought out the oranges.

Ah yes… now he wants a 2nd red packet:D

Little girl guarding the door to make sure no one comes into the changing room. I had to convince her I’m allowed access… anywhere.

Hello Anna!:D I like this better than if you were not there. At least they have a nice picture of you now. Great planning btw!:D

When the champagne pops early…

The reason why you should invite kids to weddings. They are unpredictable and they are funny.

One of the most happening dads I’ve met.

Reminds me of Elvis’s song “Little sister”.

“Little sister, don’t you kiss me once or twice
Then say it’s very nice
And then you run”

Over a busy weekend

Everyone seems to be busy doing something and I was busy capturing them doing their busyness.

Garden City

Have you sin seen it yet?

Make a guess

I love lines, curves and things in symmetry, with a dash of nature.
